Dear Violet,

Today I call for something else.

You are a very beautiful blue,

4 year old retired greyhound

and you need to be adopted

and re-homed as a lovely pet.

 

You wait.

The months have been so wet

and I do not forget,

you sweet one, are still waiting.

 

Today I pray for healing grace 

and for my wish for you to be safe,

comfortable, content, settled and free.

 

May you have peaceful gardens,

and curious walks

in many green and interesting places,

and always be with friendly faces.

 

May our waiting time soon welcome

a wonderful answer to come.
