Dear Violet

Dear Violet,

Today I call for something else.

You are a very beautiful blue,

4 year old retired greyhound

and you need to be adopted

and re-homed as a lovely pet.

 

You wait.

The months have been so wet

and I do not forget,

you sweet one, are still waiting.

 

Today I pray for healing grace 

and for my wish for you to be safe,

comfortable, content, settled and free.

 

May you have peaceful gardens,

and curious walks

in many green and interesting places,

and always be with friendly faces.

 

May our waiting time soon welcome

a wonderful answer to come.

Merrily Travel Along

Strength arrives mysteriously

merrily travel along the Way,

silently walk the questions, so any day,

new joys arise in the asking,  

Love is surely everlasting.

If I were a song with a bird in me
I would sing joyously from each tree
I would bring my all to be

singing harmoniously. 

If I were a tune to call to the moon
I would sail through the silver trees
I would float lightly on the breeze
I would be lighter than ever before
I would call more to explore.

If I were a string on an instrument
I would sound around the other strings
I would bring melodies to please the birds
I would be the sweetest song I ever heard.

If I was a woman who roamed the hills
I would walk and breathe fresh air
I would hum a tune and whistle a song
I would know the birds and I all belong
to this wide world and this new day
and every song and tune would say
bring more love

call more joy
be the one who enjoys

enriching more inspiration
by heartily appreciating mother earth.

Be in this day, be in this light,

shine your brightest day and night.
Plant more trees to bless the birds
that freely share all songs.
