Come With Me To See

I wish you all may be

here with me to see this sky so blue

with the green trees just waiting

to colour their leaves,

and all around, is welcoming visitors to explore,

to expand,

to just wander over the grassy land.

 

This is the place to be, 

where on this summer day,

I feel the ease of the Mount Lofty breeze

uplifting me. 

 

I drove up here through the long heatwave.

Sometimes we need to lose ourselves

and find a place like nowhere else

to hide away,

to while away,

to simply nourish and renew ourselves.

 

I took this photo in the extreme mid-day heat of February,

in the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens, Crafers, South Australia 

 

Dear Friends,

I appreciate you being here with me.

It was a long hot and dry summer.

I have now recovered from some auto-immune challenges,

and am so happy to be here in my simple life.

I did re-post some of my poems, in those healing months,

and I now have beautiful Oak Tree photos to share with you soon.
