Those Tender Words of Rumi

Today I participated in a Stone Ritual,
Drinking the Tears of the World
and Sharing Our Sorrows, with Sounds True One
community and founder, Tami Simon,
lead by Francis Weller,
the author of "The Wild Edge of Sorrow"

These were the words by Rumi,
that Francis Weller read - To Close the Ritual

"Those tender words we share with one another,
are stored in the secret heart of heaven,
one day, like rain,
they will fall and spread,
and our mystery will grow green across the earth."

What is life asking of me?

What is life asking of me?
Listen deeply

Share the message we share to share
We are not here to go anywhere

We are just in this place
to be a calm face
a cheerful smile
a space between
the daily race of life's doings

just to simply be openly receptive
to feel within

and everyday begin again
in a space to be in a peaceful place

a place to be open to
all around which sings to you
to hum a tune
to save an ant
to water life
and live quietly
honoring nature and sitting with trees

All is always well
when you retreat
beyond a deeper seat within

and from there
begin again to share
all the love you will find right there
Breathe
Smile
Pause a while and walk on
step by step by step
Peace is every step
Every smile shines a light.

Blessings, love and peace,
Bee

The Gatherings

The gatherings.
Those we gathered as friends
those we let go of again
the mists, the rains,
the clouds, the skies
the hours and hours of lifetimes
lived,
learning we are all here
just to love, and to forgive,
to bring our hearts
to start again,
every new beginning.

A Gift From A Deeper Place / Close Up

This is a deeper verse,
which came on June 4, 2019.
I thought I was
'looking-on from what could be',
but most possibly the student was me.
I even called it Close Up.

Last summer,
I memorized the poem,
just to recite expressively to myself.
And now I know how I got here.
Close Up, was a gift to me,
which I openly share,
as a gift to all from A Deeper Place.

Close Up

Remember when
you dressed my wounds
and told me then
you would always love our times together
but that was never
what it seemed
as you were always
leaving.

And returning

but not really here.

You were bleeding

all over the place

and never facing
 what was true
never being the real you.

Sometimes you still

call in

to see

what is going on with me.

Here today is my plea.

Hear me.

Stay a while
and listen to my heart beat
come in closer and really meet
Trust

Honesty

Tolerance

Gentleness

What Joy that would be

Defenselessness for me to see,

Generosity to give away all you value here

and Patience now, and for all time
Faithfulness with an Open-mind.

If every word was ever heard,

Love would sing, and light would bring
a truly wondrous way to be

living with Simplicity.

This deep and honest verse is expanded here
on August 3, 2025. Written June 4, 2019

Velvet Petals

Now I live in treasured spaces within.
I glow in radiance with the flowers.
I like the lightness of the day
as in my life I say:

Both joy and sorrow
travel this path with heart
and so we grow
expressing the inner Self
we have come to know.

Be soft, be gentle,
be tender and kind
Rest your heart in velvet petals.

This is a re-post of my verse from November 2021
